1 Million People Benefited from Humanitarian Surgical Services Provided by Saudi Arabia Worldwide

RIYADH: More than 1 million people benefited from the humanitarian surgical services provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) worldwide, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) said on Saturday. The spokesperson of the KSrelief, Samir Al-Jutaili made the remarks while talking to Al-Ekhbariyah. He said that the voluntary and humanitarian surgeries provided by the Kingdom have been executed in over 35 nations around the globe.

The spokesperson noted that KSrelief has performed over 113,000 surgeries in the most needy nations, indicating that these surgeries are accurate, the most significant of which are eye surgeries, open-heart surgeries, and catheters.

The number of drives executed by KSrelief has so far reached to 403, with a total number of volunteers exceeding 52,000, he added.  The spokesperson further said that eye surgeries contributed to the restoration of eyesight to 450 people in each drive.
