LONDON: UK police officials said Saturday 15 people including one child were arrested following a police vehicle set on fire at an anti-immigration protest in front of a hotel near Liverpool.
UK Interior Minister Condemns Disorder
Police said that they have arrested 15 people far after violent disorder” in northwestern part of England.
Police added fireworks were thrown at officials and one of their police vehicles was assaulted by offenders during clashes in front of The Suites Hotel.
It added that one official and two people have received slight wounds due to the protest in the area.

UK minister for interior affairs Suella Braverman denounced the disorder in a tweet, saying that the attitude is never an excuse for violence.
Police officials said that two women were also arrested and were examining video to identify and arrest rest of the protestors.
Police claimed that a group of troublemakers staged a planned protest by another group in to carry out violent.
