206,018 Illegal Foreigners Repatriated Since September 17: KP Home Dept

PESHAWAR: Illegal Afghan immigrants continue to be repatriated via the Torkham border in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, with a total of 206,018 individuals repatriated since September 17, 2023.

According to a spokesperson from the KP Home Department, as of November 12, 2023, 16,530 families have been repatriated, comprising 58,046 adult males, 45,192 adult females, and 102,780 children.

Furthermore, the identification process of 23,471 illegal Afghan immigrants in major cities within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been successfully completed. On November 12, 3,043 illegal foreign nationals were repatriated through the Torkham border.

The government has provided free transportation services and other necessary facilities to support repatriation from the Landi Kotal holding camp to the Torkham border in Khyber district. —APP
