ISLAMABAD: As many 280,000 cross-border travelers were recorded on Monday as regular travel between the border between mainland China and Hong Kong started to resume.
Hong Kong Special Administrative Region revealed the numbers (HKSAR)’s acting chief executive Chan Kwok-ki.
Smooth operations at all control points after border reopening
Speaking prior to an executive council meeting, Chan stated that all the land, air, and seaborne control points had been reopened totally since Monday.
The overall proceedings were smooth as evidenced by at least 220,000 people traveling through the points of land control. The busiest one was at Lo Wu.
