Three-day Food Festival to Begin on Friday in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A three-day Food Festival will begin at F-9 Park in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan, on Friday (December 9). The festival will comprise of delicious homemade food stalls, tasty food items, and traditional meals from popular restaurants.

Maham Naeem, the event organizer, said the dazzling festival would have around 80 food stalls, and most of these stalls would offer homemade edibles. “Consumers will place online orders after tasting the home-cooked food. In this way, the festival will promote new businesses in the food industry”, she added.

She said the new businesses in the food industry offering home-cooked foods had been given preference in the event. She said the festival is an attempt to empower women and an opportunity for young entrepreneurs.

She said that RTP, Abdul Hanan, and Mustafa Zahid would perform in the festival, adding that they are in contact with singers, including Sahir Ali Bagga, Ali Zafar, and the Bayaan Band, to perform in the event.
