8000 MW of Electricity will be Obtained from CPEC’s Energy Projects, Ambassador Moinul Haque

Pakistan’s ambassador to China, Moinul Haque, has said that the CPEC project is the economic development plan of Pakistan, and 8000 MW of electricity will be obtained from CPEC’s energy projects.

Speaking at the CPEC seminar organized by China Window in Peshawar and organized in collaboration with Higher Education Commission, KP Investment Board, IM Sciences and Chinese Cultural Center, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Moinul Haque said that the CPEC project Pakistan’s economic development plan is the flagship project of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s historic Belt and Road initiative.

Chinese Foreign Minister Pang Chenshu said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has brought Pakistan and China closer, the CPEC project is a plan for the economic development of both countries.

In his address on this occasion, former Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the CPEC project has turned the direction of economic development from the West to the East, some forces are engaged in conspiracies against this great project of the century which will fail.

Farhatullah Babar said that Pakistan needs to learn more from the Chinese development model and follow it, to improve the country’s economic condition, relations with its neighbors must be improved.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Information Minister Feroze Jamal said that it is necessary to identify the obstacles in the path of CPEC, think about how China has developed, people and rulers have to think about what they are doing for the country.

Feroze Jamal said that if there is to be progress, priorities have to be changed, in the last few years there have been bottlenecks in CPEC that need to be removed.
