ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has anticipated hot and humid weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours; however, also expected rain-thunderstorm at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the federal capital, its adjacent Pothohar region, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the night.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air was dominant over most parts of the country, whereas a low westerly wave was likely to approach the upper parts of the country tonight.
According to the Met office, most parts of the country witnessed hot and humid weather, with the highest maximum temperatures recorded as 45 C at Nokkundi and Dalbandin.
