Pakistan’s Minister Congratulates Saudi Arabia on National Day

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Aneeq Ahmed, extended warm congratulations on Thursday to the leadership of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of Saudi Arabia’s 93rd National Day.

In a statement, Minister Aneeq expressed the shared joy of the people of Pakistan in celebrating this significant day with their Saudi brothers and sisters. He commended the Saudi leadership, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, for their exemplary hospitality and the provision of top-notch facilities for the ‘Guests of the Rahman,’ emphasizing the exceptional care extended to pilgrims and visitors.

Saudi Arabia, he noted, stands as a distinguished and pivotal nation within the Muslim Ummah, showcasing remarkable progress across all sectors.

Minister Aneeq extended his gratitude to the 27 million Pakistani expatriates and highlighted their unwavering contributions to the progress and development of Saudi Arabia. He underscored the unique relationship between Saudi Arabia, its citizens, and the global Muslim community, transcending geographical boundaries and uniting Muslims from every corner of the world.

Minister Praises Saudi Arabia’s Visionary Leadership

Reflecting on Saudi Arabia’s remarkable journey from its inception to the present day, Minister Aneeq acknowledged the astonishing development achieved, particularly under the visionary leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, with a special mention of the transformative Vision 2030 initiative.

He reaffirmed the friendly and fraternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the continued importance of cooperation for the progress and stability of both nations.
