MIRPUR, AJK: Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has said that the assassination of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar and another sikh by India’s spy agency RAW in Canada soil was the worst example of Indian state-sponsored terrorism.

Urging the European nations, in particular the US to take effective cognisance of the issue, the AJK prime minister said that the cold-blooded murder of the Sikh leader was a replica of the incidents that occur day in and day out in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

He said that Nijjar’s killing was carried out the same way the Indian secret agency sleuths have been murdering Kashmiris in IIOJK.

The premier said that it was quite unfortunate that the world did not pay heed to the Kashmiris’ call to hold New Delhi accountable for the crimes its troops have been committing against Kashmiris.

He said that Kashmiris have since long been saying that the Indian military and its secret agencies were involved in the targeted killings of innocent Kashmiris in the region but no action was taken against the Indian regime.

Canadian government proves India’s involvement in killings

Now that the Canadian government has proved that New Delhi was involved in the killings of its citizens, the PM said that it was necessary that the global community should play its much-needed role in bringing the Indian terrorists involved in the murder of a Canadian citizen to justice.

Referring to New Delhi’s worst human rights track record, he said that the Kashmiri people have been the worst victims of Indian state terrorism.

The PM said that the global community should take notice of the plight of the Kashmiris and raise their voice in favour of their legitimate right, the right to self-determination.
