TEHRAN: Iranian officials claimed on Sunday that it has defused as many as 30 bombs in Tehran and arrested 28 terrorists linked to the Daesh militant group, Iranian media reported.
Dozens of Bombs Defused in Tehran
Iran’s Tasnim news agency quoted the intelligence ministry of Iran as saying that some men of Daesh and the culprits have a history of being linked with groups in Afghanistan, Syria, and the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Reuters reported that the militant group had claimed several assaults in Iran.

As per media reports Daesh claimed responsibility for an attack on a shrine last October, where fifteen people were killed in the city of Shiraz.
