Pakistani Information Minister Assures Free, Transparent Elections

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi on Tuesday said the interim government would ensure free, impartial and transparent elections in a peaceful and conducive atmosphere.

He said this during a meeting with former Member of Provincial Assembly, former spokesperson of Balochistan Government Farah Azim Shah.

He added that development and welfare of Balochistan was a priority of the interim government.

The Information Minister said without the development of Balochistan province there would be no comprehensive progress of Pakistan.

They also discussed the overall political situation of Pakistan especially Balochistan including the general elections.

Farah Azim Shah expressing confidence in the leadership and initiatives of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul Haq Kakar lauded the economic and administrative policies of the interim government.
