ISLAMABAD: The National Day of Spain was celebrated in grand style in Pakistan’s capital, where the Spanish Ambassador hosted a reception for the guests. The event was graced by the presence of the Federal Minister for Privatization, Fawad Hassan Fawad, as the chief guest, and the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Qazi Faez Isa, also attended the reception.
During the reception, Minister Fawad expressed his admiration for the excellent relations between Pakistan and Spain. He noted that both countries have been actively collaborating on various regional and multilateral platforms, and he expressed his optimism that these relations would continue to strengthen in the future.

Pakistan’s Role as Trading Partner of Spain
In his address, the Spanish Ambassador shed light on various facets of the bilateral relations between Spain and Pakistan. He highlighted Pakistan’s status as the second-largest trading partner of Spain within the European Union.
The Ambassador also emphasized Spain’s historical and religious significance, underscoring the occasion’s importance.
