ISLAMABAD: The Roots International School organized Mehfil-e-Milad to pray tribute to the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
The Milad began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Hamd and Naats by the students.
Special Advisor to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Human Rights and Women Empowerment Mushaal Mullick participated as the chief guest.
Mushal Mullick Appreciates Recitation of Hamd and Naats in Milad
Speaking on the occasion, she appreciated the students for reciting Hamd and Naats and emphasized the need to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
She said that the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) enlightened the universe with his message of Islam, and he granted women their rights and made them respectable individuals in society.
Mushaal Mullick highlighted the Indian atrocities in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), saying the Hindutwa was bringing havoc in the valley.
She urged the Islamic countries to come united and defend the rights of Kashmiris and Palestinians.
Mushaal said that in Gaza, innocent women and children were being targeted by the Israeli military, and they are facing the worst kind of barbarity at the hands of Israel.
She said that Israeli bombardments were destroying schools and hospitals in Gaza. The international community should play its due role to stop Israeli atrocities in Palestine, she maintained.
