RIYADH: Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, on Wednesday received a phone call from the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luminita Odobescu, Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the phone conversation, the foreign ministers discussed the danger of the continued military escalation in Gaza and its surroundings and the need to stop the violence and prevent the escalation of the current conflict in the region.
Saudi and Romanian FMs Discuss Significance of Communication
The foreign ministers also discussed the significance of intensifying communication with the wider international community through multilateral and bilateral relations to find a comprehensive, just, and equitable solution to the conflict that guarantees the rights of the Palestinian people and addresses the humanitarian crisis in a way that contributes to protecting Palestinian civilians and ensure a continuous flow of relief aid and medical equipment to the affected region.
The two sides also discussed bilateral ties and ways to strengthen them to serve the aspirations of the two countries. They also discussed topics of common interest.
