WEST BANK: Israeli occupation forces conducted a series of raids on Saturday, detaining dozens of innocent Palestinian civilians from various locations in the occupied West Bank.

The raids targeted homes, leading to the detention of 25 individuals in Fawar refugee camp, ranging in age between 20 and 53 years. Additionally, one person was detained in Beit Ummar, Hebron governorate, while two individuals aged 33 were detained in Bethlehem.

In the Jenin governorate, six people were detained, with five of them hailing from the town of Jaba in the north of the West Bank and three others from Balata refugee camp in Nablus. The Ramallah district also witnessed detentions, where a man and his two sons were detained from the village of Deir Jarir, along with another man from the town of Nilin.

Tensions in West Bank Amid Israeli Brutalities

These detentions mark an alarming escalation, contributing to the rising tensions in the region. According to prisoners’ advocacy groups, more than 2,000 Palestinian civilians have been detained in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7.

The arrests have raised concerns and sparked outrage, both locally and internationally, over the widespread impact on the lives of Palestinians in the occupied territories.
