TASHKENT: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has left for Islamabad after attending the 16th ECO Summit held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov seen off caretaker Prime Minister at Tashkent International Airport on Thursday.
During his two day-visit the PM attended the 16th Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) summit and also held meetings with world leaders.

The PM while addressing the ECO summit emphasized the need to revitalize and reform the regional body. He underscored the potential of a well-connected region in bringing significant economic and peace benefits to the peoples of member countries.
He also condemned Israeli atrocities in Gaza and called for addressing this issue in accordance with relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar held separate meetings with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and reviewed the progress in bilateral relations especially in the domain of trade, defence and energy.
He also met with ECO Secretary General Ambassador Khusrav Noziri, on the sidelines of the 16th ECO Summit in Tashkent.
