BEIJING: China’s Special Envoy on Afghan Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yue Xiaoyong, on Tuesday held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to China, Khalil-ur-Rahman Hashmi, in Beijing.
The discussions between the two diplomats encompassed a range of issues of mutual interest and concern, reflecting the ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation and understanding.
During the exchange of views, Special Envoy Yue Xiaoyong and Ambassador Khalil-ur-Rahman Hashmi explored avenues for collaboration and cooperation between China and Pakistan, particularly focusing on matters related to Afghanistan.
China and Pakistan, as close allies and neighbors, have consistently worked together to strengthen their diplomatic ties and address regional challenges.
