KSrelief Wraps Up Winter Relief Project Across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabian humanitarian agency, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) while responding to the pressing needs of communities affected by the natural calamities, has wrapped up its Winter Relief Project in Pakistan, distributing 25,000 winter kits to the coldest regions of the country, a statement said on Thursday.

The project was implemented in collaboration with National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and Gilgit Baltistan Disaster Management Authority (GBDMA).

These packages were distributed in five districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, four districts of Balochistan province and three districts in Gilgit Baltistan.

The 25,000 packages included two polyester quilts, a warm shawl kit for both men and women, as well as winter clothing for children and adults.

KSrelief worked with provincial governments and the Hayat Foundation as their implementing partner.

Overall, the winter relief packages given by the KSrelief that have positively benefited over 175,000 individuals in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan, and Gilgit Baltistan.
