LAHORE: The Embassy of the Republic of South Korea in Pakistan celebrated Korean Week in Lahore on Friday by organizing the 2023 K-POP Concert Night.
The non-commercial, non-ticketed event, held at Alhamra Arts Council, showcased the Korean rock band GAON, who traveled from Korea to perform. K-POP idol Namkoog Seeoyoon joined Pakistani K-pop group Dynamite Crew, along with Gohar and Ms. Sara. The Korean Language and Culture Center’s group, ‘Above Top Tier,’ also participated in the concert.
Punjab’s Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare, Dr. Jamal Nasir, along with the Secretary of the Food Department, attended the event as the Chief Guest.
Addressing the event, South Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Park Kijun highlighted the profound impact of music in fostering unity and friendship between countries. He expressed optimism about the growing strength of relations between Pakistan and Korea, emphasizing the universal language of music.
The house was full, and the audience thoroughly enjoyed the exhilarating performances, expressing delight at attending the concert.
