KSrelief Lunches Volunteer Program for Cardiac Catheterization in Yemen

HADHRAMAUT: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched the Nabdh AlSaudia Volunteer Program for Cardiac Catheterization and Surgery in the Mukalla district of the Hadhramaut governorate in Yemen, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.

Since the start of the health program, which will run until December 16, the KSrelief’s volunteer medical team has conducted eight open-heart surgeries, 12 diagnostic catheterizations for children, and 15 therapeutic catheterizations.

The program is part of the humanitarian and relief projects that Saudi Arabia implements, through its humanitarian arm KSrelief, to support the medical sector in Yemen.
