JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) exceptional session of the Permanent Finance Committee is being held at its Jeddah headquarters to approve the 2024 budgets for the General Secretariat and Subsidiary Organs.
The three-day OIC exceptional session of the Permanent Finance Committee will be concluded on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

On its opening day, Hissein Brahim Taha, the Secretary-General, conveyed his address through Ambassador Musa Kulaklikaya, the Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs. In his speech, Taha expressed gratitude to Member States for their unwavering support for the OIC.
The Permanent Finance Committee plays a crucial role in providing strategic direction and supporting decision-making on financial matters within the OIC. Moreover, the meeting also heralded the initiation of regular activities at the new OIC headquarters in Jeddah.
