JEDDAH: The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, has received Mohammed Nehad, Consul General of France in Jeddah, an OIC statement said on Thursday.
During the meeting, the envoy presented his letter of credence as Special Envoy of France to the OIC, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat.
The two sides welcomed the level of ties between the OIC and France and discussed the prospects of promoting dialogue and cooperation in various areas.
They also exchanged views on mutual interest, particularly Palestine.
