Pakistan’s Education Minister Visits Ethiopian Pavilion at Karachi Festival

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Caretaker Federal Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Madad Ali Sindhi, visited the Ethiopian Pavilion at the Karachi Festival on Saturday. The minister’s presence was marked by warm hospitality from Ambassador Jemal Beker Abdula of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The Ethiopian Pavilion, inaugurated on Friday in the presence of distinguished guests from the diplomatic corps, the Government of Pakistan, civil society, the business community, and the media, stood as a captivating testament to Ethiopia’s rich tourism, culture, and heritage.

Commending Ambassador Jemal Beker Abdula for the commendable initiative to introduce Ethiopian tourism and culture to Pakistan, Minister Madad Ali Sindhi recognized the immense potential for tourism and the diverse cultural offerings of Ethiopia.

Strong Relations Between Pakistan and Ethiopia

Expressing gratitude to the Government of Ethiopia for the commencement of Ethiopian Airlines in Karachi, which played a pivotal role in fostering connections between Pakistan and Africa, Minister Madad Ali Sindhi highlighted the significance of such initiatives in strengthening bilateral relations.

Ambassador Jemal Beker Abdula conveyed appreciation to Minister Madad Ali Sindhi for gracing the Ethiopian tourism pavilion with his presence. He underscored the strong historical connection between the people of Pakistan and Ethiopia.
