ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan government has released the remaining 290 Baloch protestors based on the recommendations of the committee led by Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar.
The decision to release the detained protestors was taken in view of the directions of the honorable court, as stated by an Interior Ministry spokesperson in a Monday statement.
While affirming the right to peaceful protest for every citizen, the spokesperson said that no one should take the law into their own hands.
The spokesperson further assured that the security of the Capital’s Red Zone, housing constitutional institutions and the Diplomatic Enclave, would be safeguarded at any cost.
