Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Invites Austrian Investors to Explore Opportunities

KARACHI: Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister, Justice (Retired) Maqbool Baqar, has extended a warm invitation to investors from Austria, urging them to explore investment opportunities in the province. The invitation was extended during a meeting with the Ambassador of Austria, Mrs. Andrea Wicke, held in Karachi.

The discussions in the meeting covered various aspects of bilateral relations, trade, investment, and climate change. The Caretaker Chief Minister highlighted the potential for investment in Sindh and encouraged Austrian investors to actively participate in the economic growth of the province.

Ambassador Andrea Wicke, in response, acknowledged her country’s existing investment in the oil industry in Pakistan. She also commended the high quality of rice produced in Pakistan, showcasing the diverse investment prospects and economic strengths of the country.

This interaction signifies a collaborative effort to strengthen economic ties between Sindh and Austria, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships and contributing to the growth and development of both regions.
