Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to UN Calls On PM Kakar

ISLAMABAD: The Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, Munir Akram, visited caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Islamabad on January 5th. Both of them discussed various mutual concerns during the meeting.

Prime Minister Kakar commended Munir Akram for effectively presenting Pakistan’s stance on the Palestine issue at the United Nations. He instructed Akram to consistently emphasize Pakistan’s position on the Kashmir issue at the international forum.

The prime minister emphasized that diplomatic representatives of Pakistan should prioritize identifying opportunities for the country’s economic well-being on the global stage.

Munir Akram briefed the Prime Minister on his mission’s performance and sought guidance regarding foreign policy.  —APP
