Leaders Condemn Lakki Marwat Attack

ISLAMABAD: President Dr. Arif Alvi and other leaders have strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a police van in Lakki Marwat on Wednesday.

He expressed his regret and sorrow at the loss of valuable lives in the terror tragedy, and he noted that security personnel’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism remain remembered. The President stated that the country is proud of its martyrs and will never forget their sacrifices.

President Arif Alvi stated that such cowardly acts will not shake the nation’s resolve to combat terrorism. Terrorists, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, are Pakistan’s enemies, and every effort will be made to protect the country.

In a statement, the prime minister strongly denounced the terrorist attack on a police vehicle in Lakki Marwat. He paid tribute to the six police officers who were killed. He stated that the entire nation salutes the sons of the soil who gave their lives for the motherland.

He requested that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government immediately announce the Shuhada package for the martyred police officers. The Prime Minister expressed his sympathies to the grieving family and said a prayer for the souls of the deceased.

Rana Sanaullah, Minister of Interior, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on police officers in Lakki Marwat. In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Interior Minister requested a report on the incident from the Chief Secretary and Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also condemned the terrorist attack in Lucky Marwat and expressed sorrow over the deaths of police officers in the attack.

Bilawal Bhutto stated that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government should bring the attackers to justice. Bilawal Bhutto chairman of the Pakistan people party(PPP) prayed for the martyrs’ status and stated that the sacrifices made by KP Police in the fight against terrorism are unparalleled and timeless.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bazinjo, on the other hand, condemned the incident of terrorists firing on police and expressed sadness over the martyrdom of six police officers.
