Lamola added that they believed and remained very confident that those evidences and facts were still in violation of the Genocide Convention.

The minister reiterated that no matter what some person within the group of Gaza and Palestine may have done, and no matter how great the threat to people in Israel might be, genocidal assaults on the whole of Gaza … with the intent of abolishing them cannot be justified at all.

Lamola also responded to Israel’s allegation calling South Africa’s arguments ” partial and confusing.” He added most of its arguments, including humanitarian help and displacement, were also by the United Nations.

Ammar Hijazi, the minister for multilateral affairs of Palestine, said that Israel has “not been in position to provide any solid arguments on the ground of fact and law,” during its arguments at ICJ.

Hijazi asked what Israel has provided today, are many of the already exposed lies that have been said earlier.
