Tension in the Red Sea has upset the livelihood of fishermen in Yemen’s port city of Aden, as fears of potential attacks by the U.S. and British navies have withheld them from fishing, heavily reducing their income. Because of the impact on the local fishing industry, the price of tuna has surged to a level unaffordable for many in Aden, as inflation and inadequate supply have led to a 56-percent surge in the price of the fish.
