Imran Khan Directs Supporters to Reach Rawalpindi on November 26

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and PTI (Pakistan Terek-e-Insaf) Chief Imran khan has directed his supporters to reach Rawalpindi on 26th November as part of the ongoing long march against the incumbent PML-N-led coalition government.

While addressing the participants of the PTI long march via video link, Imran Khan said he would disclose his next action plan when the marchers reach Rawalpindi.

He directed the participants to reach Rawalpindi on the due date between 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm as he would address the participants and let them know about the future action plan against the government.

Imran Khan Says Fresh Election Only Way Out of Political Crisis

He reiterated way out of current political crises is only through holding fresh and fair general elections in the country. He also called upon the establishment to decide whether they wanted to take the country in a positive or negative direction.

He also criticized the country’s leading private television channel Geo TV and other elements and accused them of exaggerating the Toshakhana issue and the expensive watch story. He added that he knew he would not get justice from local courts. Therefore, he has decided to approach the international courts.

The situation at Rawat

Meanwhile, as the long march of PTI is approaching Rawat, near Rawalpindi city, most of the businesses, petrol pumps, and other stores were closed on Saturday. To counter any untoward incidents, police officers were deployed in different parts of Rawat.  There are also reports of road blockades and traffic jams in Rawat, causing problems for commuters and locals.
