ISLAMABAD: In an Islamabad police security alert, it was announced that it had decided to equip police officers with body camera and deploy them at the capital’s points of entry and exit.
Officers with body cameras will be stationed at the entry and exit points of Islamabad, according to police.
First instance of body camera use by capital’s police
Body camera recordings will identify those taking part in illegal activities. It would be the first instance in which the capital police administration will use body cameras to maintain control while a situation of public order unfolded.
Additionally, the notification stated that personnel of the Rangers and Frontier Constabulary would be provided modern technological gear to perform their duties immaculately. – APP
