CAIRO: The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned the announcement made by the Argentine President Javier Milei’s to relocate his country’s embassy in the Israeli occupied Jerusalem, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
According to the SPA, the league in a statement rejected the announcement, saying the step is an open violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions and an assault on the legal rights of the Palestinian people.
The Cairo-based Arab Parliament also emphasized that such an act would undermine the two-state solution and would encourage the occupation and the extremist settlers’ attacks against the Palestinian people and the holy sites in the occupied territory.
