ANF Recovers 128 Kg Drugs in Five Operations Across Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted five operations across Pakistan and managed to recover more than 128 kg of drugs with five arrests, said an ANF Headquarters spokesperson on Monday.

He disclosed that 40 heroin-filled capsules were confiscated from a passenger bound for Middle East at Peshawar Airport. Additionally, 63 kg of hashish was seized in the Zakhakhel Khyber area, while 58.8 kg of hashish was confiscated from two suspects apprehended near National Highway Hyderabad.

In the fourth operation, 4.8 kg of hashish was recovered from an individual detained on Noor Shah Road in Sahiwal. Furthermore, 1.2 kg of hashish was found on a suspect arrested near G.T Road in Suhawa, Jhelum.

The apprehended individuals have been charged under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations are ongoing.  —APP
