ANKARA: Turkiye’s Red Crescent, known as Kizilay, is dispatching its largest aid shipment to Gaza via Egypt.
According to reports, a vessel carrying approximately 3,000 tons of food, medicine, and equipment left for the Egyptian port of Al-Arish on Thursday.
Turkiye, harshly criticizing Israel for military actions in Gaza and advocating for its prosecution for genocide at the World Court, has continuously urged for a ceasefire.
The country has emphasized the urgency of achieving peace before the start of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which begins on Sunday.
