US Defence Secretary lauds German move for supporting Ukraine
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin discussed support for Ukraine and efforts to “strengthen security on NATO’s eastern flank” with his German counterpart, Christine Lambrecht, according to the Pentagon.
“Secretary Austin commended German leaders for providing security assistance to Ukraine, which has a positive impact on Ukraine’s ability to defend itself against Russian aggression,” the Pentagon said in a statement. He added, “The two leaders agreed to continue coordinating their efforts to help Ukraine and strengthen NATO’s deterrence.”

Zelenskyy discusses energy cooperation with the EU
Meanwhile, According to Aljazeera, Zelenskyy spoke with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and discussed cooperation to ensure the stability of Ukraine. In a tweet, the Ukrainian President said he expressed gratitude to the European Union for helping Kyiv and working on the ninth package of sanctions against Russia. He did not explain.
