ISLAMABAD: Meta-owned WhatsApp, the most popular messaging app, has introduced a new feature, ‘Message Yourself,’ that allows you to send messages to yourself, reports TechCrunch, citing a service representative.
The feature functions in the same way as normal conversations. Users can send themselves all the important information they want to save as essential notes, such as a to-do list, purchases, and reminders. The chat with yourself will be located at the top of the conversation list, making it easier to search for messages.
WhatsApp update
In the update, when a user sends a message on the platform, their cellphone number will appear at the top of the contact list. When they press on a contact, a chat box mentioning their name opens, allowing them to store messages.
The feature is already available to a number of users. However, it will soon be introduced worldwide for Android and iOS users.
