LAHORE: Pakistan and New Zealand teams will meet today for their fourth contest of the ongoing five-match T20I series to be held at Gadhafi Stadium Lahore.
The green shirts would play without Muhammad Rizwan and Irfan Niazi as both suffered injuries and were advised to rest for some days.
After the first contest was washed out by rain, both the teams registered one win each in the first three matches of the T20I series.
An all-round performance by Pakistani bowlers in the second game, guided the home team to an easy win against the Black Caps whereas Mark Chapman’s unbeaten half-century took the Kiwis to a comfortable seven-wicket win against Pakistan in the third T20I. Both the matches were played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
New Zealand Young Team
Pakistan is playing under the leadership of Babar Azam who resumed charge as captain of the team to replace Shaheen Afridi. New Zealanders are playing the series with almost fresh faces as most of their players including Kim Williamson, Trent Bolt, Daryl Mitchel, Ferguson etc are busy in the IPL.
