BEIJING: Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang has expressed his country’s complete support to Pakistan in all areas of cooperation including trade, economy and investment. Chinese Vice Premier said this while talking to Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Beijing on Wednesday.
Ding Xuexiang reiterated the importance of fast-track implementation of CPEC projects for mutual prosperity and development in the region.
Both the dignitaries agreed to sustain the growing momentum of mutual relations in all areas of cooperation and to strengthen the iron-clad Pakistan-China friendship further.
Meanwhile, Ishaq Dar expressed condolences and outrage on the Shangla attack on 26th March 2024 and assured the Vice-premier about zero tolerance for perpetrators and militants. He appreciated the services of the fallen Chinese workers.
Ishaq Dar on CPEC Phase-II project
Ishaq Dar highlighted the progress made during the implementation of the CPEC project in energy and infrastructure and expressed confidence in the optimistic dividends under Phase-II in the fields of industry, agriculture and mineral development.
Both sides also discussed the connectivity through the Khunjerab border crossing coupled with a simplified visa regime.
