Ingredients:
1 cup rice
1 cup canned unsweetened coconut milk
3 tablespoons sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
1 mango, peeled and thinly sliced
Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions:
- Combine the coconut milk, sugar, and salt in a pot over medium heat, stirring until the mixture simmers.
- Remove the sauce from heat, ensuring it remains warm.
- Mix half of the sauce with the cooked rice and let it sit for fifteen minutes.
- Scoop out ¼ of the rice using a cup or mold to form a round, slightly domed mound.
- Place each mound of rice on a plate and top with ¼ of the mango slices.
- Drizzle the remaining sauce over each plate as required.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and serve.
