ISLAMABAD: Indulge in these refreshing Mango Dessert Cups. They are perfect for satisfying the sweet cravings.
Ingredients:
Mango chunks: 2 cups
Dairy Cream: 1 cup
Whipping Cream: 1 cup
Mango paste: 1/4 cup
Full Cream Milk: 2 cups
Sugar: 1/2 cup
Prepared mango paste: 1 cup
Egg yolk mixture: 4 egg yolks + 1/4 cup corn flour
For Assembling:
- Prepared mango custard
- Crushed cake (as required)
- Mango chunks (as required)
- Prepared mango cream (as required)
Instructions:
- Blend mango chunks in a blender until smooth. Add Dairy Cream and blend again. Set aside.
- In a bowl, beat Whipping Cream until fluffy and stiff peaks form. (Tip: Chill the cream overnight in the fridge and use an electric beater.)
- Add mango paste to the whipped cream and beat again. Set aside.
- In a pan, heat Full Cream Milk and add sugar. Cook until it starts to boil.
- Add prepared mango paste and mix well. Then add the egg yolk mixture and cook until it thickens.
- Allow the mixture to cool.
- Next, in dessert bowls, layer the prepared mango custard, crushed cake, mango chunks, and mango cream.
- The Mango Dessert Cups are ready to enjoy.
