World Championship of Legends: Pakistan Beat England

BIRMINGHAM: Pakistan defeated England by 79 runs in a T-20 match of the World Championship of Legends 2024 at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham last night.

Pakistan has set a 196-run target against England in the tenth match of the World Championship of Legends 2024 at the Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham.

England won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. The Men in Green had a shaky start as they lost openers Kamran Akmal and Sharjeel Khan early.

However, a 121-run partnership between Sohaib Maqsood and Shoaib Malik laid the basis for Pakistan to post a big total. Maqsood made 44-ball 64 while Malik made 33-ball 51. Captain Misbah-ul-Haq, made 14-ball 23 while Abdul Razzaq hit 9-ball 20.  Meaker was the best bowler for England, finishing with figures of 2/25.

 In reply, England were all out for 117 runs. Pakistan are now at the top of points table with 8 points, Earlier, they defeated Australia, India, West Indies and England.
