ISLAMABAD: Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, met with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Malik Amjed Zubair Tiwana on Friday at the FBR Headquarters in Islamabad.
During the meeting, they discussed various matters of public interest, including tax-related issues and challenges faced by taxpayers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Chairman Tiwana outlined the FBR’s ongoing efforts to address taxpayer concerns, emphasizing the steps being taken to create a more taxpayer-friendly environment.
He detailed the current tax reforms, including the digitization and automation of FBR systems, aimed at improving efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
Tiwana assured that the FBR would take all necessary measures to resolve the issues faced by taxpayers in KP and reiterated the Board’s commitment to continuous reform and enhancement of the tax system.
Governor Kundi expressed his appreciation for the FBR’s efforts to modernize and improve the tax system.
