ISLAMABAD: Made with the richness of butter and plush Cashew Nut, Kaju Kheer is a staple in many parts of the world. Try this quick recipe to prepare a delicious dessert.
Ingredients
- Butter 2 Tablespoon
- Cashew Nuts 5 Tablespoon
- Milk 1 Liter
- Almonds 2 Tablespoon
- Pistachios 2 Tablespoon
- Cardamom powder 1/2 Teaspoon
- Sugar 4 Tablespoon
- Khoya 3 Tablespoon
- Almonds To Garnish
- Pistachios To Garnish
Preparation
- Take butter in a pan and let it melt.
- To the pan, add cashew nuts and saute them.
- Take out the cashew nuts when baked, and set aside.
- Now pour milk in the pan and stir on high flame.
- Cover and cook for 6 – 8 minutes.
- Add in pistachios, almonds, sugar, cardamom powder, and stir for around 2 minutes.
- Add the baked cashew nuts and cook for around 5 minutes.
- And then add khoya and cook until the milk decreases to half.
- Garnish with pistachios and almond, and serve hot or cold as per your choice.
