CM Sindh Bids Farewell to Dawoodi Bohra Leader at Karachi Airport

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah bade farewell to Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the spiritual leader of the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat, at the Old Terminal of Karachi Airport on Saturday.

Accompanied by Sindh Minister for Irrigation Jam Khan Shoro, the Chief Minister extended his best wishes to Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin as he prepared to depart.

Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, who arrived in Karachi on July 4 at the invitation of President Asif Ali Zardari, was warmly received by Chief Minister Shah upon his arrival. During his visit, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin conducted a series of engagements and offered prayers for the prosperity and security of Pakistan and the global community.

Before his departure, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin offered heartfelt prayers for the well-being of the people of Pakistan and the world.

Earlier in the visit, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had presented Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin with three rare and valuable copies of handwritten manuscripts, including Tafseer-e-Quran and khutbas of Bohra Jamaat leaders, which are over 150 years old. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin expressed his gratitude for these historical, beautiful handwritten old and rare books.
