Pakistan Armed Forces Win Five Medals at 4th CISM World Military Cadet Games

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Armed Forces have won five medals at the 4th CISM (International Military Sports Council) World Military Cadet Games, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Friday.

The seven-day event took place in Caracas, Venezuela, from August 16-22, 2024. The Pakistan Armed Forces contingent competed in track, field, and shooting games, read the ISPR statement.

The CISM Pakistan Armed Forces tri-services team has won five medals that include a Gold Medal in the 400m race and a Silver Medal in the 200m race.

According to ISPR, Chief Warrant Officer Mueed Bloch of the Pakistan Air Force secured a Gold Medal in the 400m race and a Silver Medal in the 200m race.

Sepoy Muhammad Akhtar of the Pakistan Army earned a Bronze Medal in the 5000m race and a Silver Medal in the 10000m race.

In the 25-meter pistol shooting rapid team event, Naik Qasim Bilal, Sepoy Ismail Khan, and Sepoy Muhammad Rashid of the Pakistan Army won the Silver Medal.

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and all Service Chiefs have extended their heartfelt congratulations to the team for their outstanding performance.
