Abu Dhabi: President of UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met on Tuesday with Akinwumi Adesina, President of the African Development Bank Group, at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, local media reported.
According to media reports, the two sides discussed strengthening cooperation between the African Development Bank Group and the UAE, focusing on enhancing cooperation to obtain shared targets and promote sustainable development across Africa for the progress and prosperity of its people.
The President of UAE reaffirmed the UAE’s resolve to deepening economic and investment relations in Africa to foster mutual growth. He also emphasized the key role of financial institutions in this regard.
Adesina also expressed gratitude for the UAE’s continued support in advancing Africa’s progress and development and lauded the current collaboration between the African Development Bank Group and UAE.
