ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Turkey on Thursday agreed to enhance cooperation in areas of counter-terrorism, police, and civil armed forces.
This development was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Mehmet Pacaci in Islamabad.
The Turkish Ambassador offered Turkey’s full cooperation in counter-terrorism efforts.
On the occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan would welcome Turkey’s cooperation in counter-terrorism.
The two sides also agreed to increase the number of flights between the two friendly countries.
