ISLAMABAD: A delicious cup of hot chocolate can make you happy and fresh. Try out this recipe with a combination of dark chocolate, milk and cream for a one-cup wonder!
Ingredients
Milk: 1½ cups
Sugar: 1-2 tbsps
Cocoa powder: 1 tbsp
Dark chocolate: 4 oz
Cornstarch: 1-2 tbsps
Preparation
Cut the chocolate. Set aside.
In a small bowl whisk milk and cornstarch. Set aside.
In a small pot place the rest of the milk with sugar, cocoa powder and salt.
Bring to a simmer, decrease the heat to low, add the cornstarch mixture, whisk until combined and cook for around 3-4 minutes.
Add some chopped chocolate, turn the heat off and whisk for 2-3 minutes, until fully dissolved and thick.
Pour into a cup, garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
