ASTANA, Kazakhstan: Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has dismissed two top security officials. Ruslan Seisembayev has been removed as the head of the Anti-Terrorism Service, and Askar Amerkhanov has been dismissed from his role as the director of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
This decision was announced by the presidential press service on September 16. The dismissals are part of a broader effort to address security concerns and ensure effective management within Kazakhstan’s National Security Committee.
