TASHKENT: President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is scheduled to pay a working visit to Kazakhstan on September 17 to attend the second meeting of the leaders of Central Asia and Germany in Astana.
He is visiting Kazakhstan at the invitation of his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The summit will focus on further deepening and developing multifaceted cooperation between the Central Asian states and Germany.
Special attention will be paid to expanding practical cooperation in economic, trade, investment, transport, technological, communication, and other priority areas.
A joint meeting with the heads of top German companies and banks is also scheduled.
